We finally got to explore the Seattle Children's Museum...thanks to Miles' buddy Jake who celebrated his 2nd birthday there earlier this month. What a fun place!!!

Colorado
We ushered in 2009 with a quick trip to Colorado. It was Vince's Christmas gift from several family members. (Thank you so much!!!) How fun to get away for a couple days and catch up with old friends. We stayed with Butch and Cynthia Eversole, who have three-year-old twins: Raleigh and Ceci. Miles was in seventh heaven! We all had a great time!

What an end to 2008.
It's been a while since I've posted...shortly after the last update, we found out that my dad (Ken) had colon cancer. Between that and the winter blast that hit the Seattle area with a vengeance, I wasn't much in the "blogging" mood during the end of December. School was shut down, roads were impassable, and we were worried about my dad.
Fast forward to today....dad has had successful surgery to remove his tumor and they found no cancer in his surrounding lymph nodes, the snow is gone, we're back to school, and things are settling back to our normal, busy routine. Thank goodness for that.
But what a month it has been!
I'll start posting "catch up" pictures as soon as possible.
