Renton River Days
Every small town has a little festival celebrating itself, and Renton is no different. Today was "Kids' Day" of Renton River Days. Miles and I went down to the festivities to play while Vince continued to make headway on his projects. Highlights included: the Wenatchee Youth Circus, bouncy toys, watching a fireman shoot water from a hose, and getting to play "the drums." However, I think Miles favorite thing was getting his very own soda all to himself for the first time ever. Happy boy!

An evening at the park
It's been VERY hot here the last few days...maybe not by Guam and Florida standards, but certainly compared to what we're used to in Seattle. And most people around here do not have airconditioning. So...when the thermostat reads 86 degrees inside the house at 8:30 pm, it's time to escape the heat and search out cooler places. We found a nice little break from the heat at Philip Arnold Park in Renton the other night.
PS: Yes...it really is this light out at 8:30 pm here. Welcome to the 47th parallel.
